Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Navratna PSU, under the administrative control of the Ministry of Railways, on April 2, 2026, announced that,

The Company has received an LOA contract from the South Central Railway, a domestic entity, under General Contract Conditions. Source: BSE.

Contract Details

According to the exchange data, RVNL has bagged a contract for the Design, Supply, Erection, Testing, and commissioning of Overhead Equipment (OHE) upgradation for the existing 1X25kV system to a 2X25kV AT Feeding System.

The contract includes Feeder and Earthing works in Ongole (OGL) – Gudur (GDR), both (Incl) section of Vijayawada Division under South Central Railway, for a Total of 154 RKM/ 462 TKM.

The aforementioned work is part of the normal course of business for the Company, a company official stated.

Last month, on March 16, 2026, the company (RVNL) secured an order from NMDC for ₹95.27 crore.

Size of the Contract

The total cost of the work is INR 242,49,86,547.22/- (Rupees Two Hundred Forty-Two Crore Forty-Nine Lakh Eighty-Six Thousand Five Hundred Forty-Seven rupees and Twenty-Two paisa Only), including applicable taxes.

Duration

The new contract is to be executed over a period of 24 months from the date of the purchase order, a company management official said.

Exchange Compliance

The Company has filed these details in accordance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

As the company said, the new order is for the Refurbishment of Permanent Way of National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) Sidings & Mobile Equipment Tracks at Kirandul & Bacheli, Chhattisgarh, India.

The contract includes maintenance of the tracks.

The aforementioned work is in the normal course of business of the Company, a company official added.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited Secured An Order From NMDC

Size of the Order

The total estimated value of the new order is INR 95,27,00,000/- (Rupees Ninety Five Crores Twenty-seven Lakhs Only), including 18% GST.

Duration

The order is to be executed over a period of 36 months from the date of the Purchase Order, a company spokesperson said.

Exchange Compliance

The Company has disclosed these details under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
