Newgen Software Technologies Ltd on Thursday, dated 23 January 2025, in its BSE filing has said that the material subsidiary of the Company “Newgen Software Inc. (NSI)” has received a Purchase Orders worth USD 3,008,533 ($3 million).

Newgen Software Inc has signed an agreement with a client related to Insurance Industry.

The international contract is for an initial period of five years.

Earlier this month, on 9 January 2025, the material subsidiary of the company (NSI) has bagged an order worth $2.57 million from client related to Healthcare industry.

The share of Newgen Software closed at INR 1223.55 on the NSE, down 0.85% and the number of shares traded was 13,60,796.

Newgen Software Technologies Limited today in its exchange filing said that Newgen Software Inc. (NSI), incorporated in the USA, the material subsidiary of the company has bagged an order worth USD 2,576,284 ($2.57 million).

Newgen Software Inc (NSI) has signed an agreement with a Healthcare Client (US-based) for Enterprise Content Management.

The international contract is for an initial period of 3 years.

The share of Newgen Software closed at INR 1606.25 on the NSE, down 2.20 per cent and the number of shares traded was 2,51,330.

Q1 FY 2020-21 Numbers

IT Company Newgen Software Technologies Limited (Newgen Software) has posted its Q1 FY 2020-21 numbers today.

The Company’s consolidated revenue from operations stood at INR 132.12 Cr for the period ended 30 June 2020 as against INR 130.97 Cr for the period ended 30 June 2019, increase by 0.87 per cent Y-O-Y basis.

Newgen Software revenue declined by 30.77 per cent Q-O-Q basis (INR 190.84 Cr for the quarter ended 31 March 2020)

Total expenses of the company for the period ended 30 June 2020 stood at INR 124.12 Cr, decrease 4.34 per cent Y-O-Y basis (INR 129.88 Cr) and the same was decreased by 15.93 per cent Q-O-Q basis (INR 147.65 Cr)

The Company’s PAT increased by a whopping 196 per cent Y-O-Y basis (INR 9.12 Cr v/s INR 3.08 Cr). Newgen Software reported a net profit of INR 41.47 Cr for the period ended 31 March 2020.

Newgen Software reported an EPS of INR 1.31 as against INR 0.44 a period one year ago.

The share of Newgen Software closed at INR 195.70 on the NSE, up 7.80 per cent and the number of shares traded was 1575881.

Revenues

The Company shows steady revenue growth in recent years. Top-line has been increasing regularly for the last 5 years and jumped from INR 195 crore in FY 2013 to INR 390 crore for the period ended FY 2017.

Profits

Though the company has shown steady growth in revenue, the company fails to register steady profit growth in those 5 years. Starting from INR 36 crore of profits in FY 2013, the company’s earnings were INR 50 crore in FY 2017.
