Sedemac Mechatronics Limited, a company that sells innovative control products to the original equipment manufacturers, made a fine listing on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

A reasonable listing was expected, as the company’s ₹1,087 Crore initial public offering received a 2.68 times subscription (according to NSE data) during March 4-6.

The shares of Sedemac Mechatronics were listed at ₹1535 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, a premium of 13.5 percent, against the IPO price band of ₹1287 – ₹1352.

On the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company’s shares were listed at ₹ 1,510 per share, representing a premium of 11.7 percent.

The Stock made an intra-day high of ₹1613.50 and a low of ₹1420 before closing at ₹1451.10 (up 7.3 percent) on the NSE at the market’s close.

In terms of volumes, Sedemac_Mechatronics traded with 3,815,477 shares on the NSE.

Sedemac Mechatronics: History

The Company was initially incorporated as SEDEMAC Mechatronics Private Limited, a private limited company, under the Companies Act, 1956, on July 18, 2007.

The Company was then converted into a public limited company under a special resolution passed by the shareholders in an Extraordinary General Meeting on June 7, 2024.

Its name was subsequently changed to SEDEMAC Mechatronics Limited under a fresh certificate of incorporation issued by the Registrars of Companies on September 2, 2024.

Sedemac Mechatronics: Business

Sedemac Mechatronics Ltd is a leading supplier of control-intensive, critical-to-the-application electronic control units (ECUs) to the leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the industrial and mobility markets in India, Europe, and the United States.

According to the CRISIL Report, SEDEMAC is the first company in India to design, develop, and manufacture sensorless commutation-based integrated starter generators (ISG ECU) for two-wheelers and three-wheelers internal combustion engine (ICE)-powered vehicles.

The Company held 30 percent market share of the domestic ISG ECU market (for two-wheelers and three-wheelers combined) in terms of volume and is amongst the top 4 players for FY 2025, as per the CRISIL Report.

SEDEMAC is also the leader in India for the genset controllers (GC) market with a market share of 75 percent in FY 2025.

It is among the key global players with a market share of 14 percent globally in genset controllers and EFI ECUs.
