Shree Ram Twistex Limited, a company that manufactures cotton yarns, including Carded Yarns and Compact Ring Spun, made a weak listing on the stock market today.

The weak listing came despite the company’s ₹110 Crores IPO receiving a decent subscription of 43.66 times (according to stock exchange data) during February 23-25.

The shares of Shree_Ram_Twistex were listed at ₹68 per share on the NSE, against the IPO price of ₹95 – ₹104, suggesting a discount of 34.6%.

On the BSE, the shares of the company were listed at ₹70 apiece, a discount of 32.7%.

The Stock made an intra-day high of ₹71.40 and a low of ₹66 before closing at ₹71.40 (down 31.35 percent) on the NSE at the market’s close.

In terms of volumes, Shree_Ram_Twistex_Ltd traded with 6,126,419 shares on the NSE.

Shree Ram Twistex: History

The company was originally incorporated as Shree Ram Twistex Private Limited, as per the Certificate of Incorporation issued by the Registrar of Companies (RoC) on December 31, 2013.

It was then converted into a public limited company under a special resolution passed by the shareholders on July 26, 2024.

Its name was subsequently changed to Shree_Ram_Twistex_Limited under a fresh certificate of incorporation issued by the RoC on September 18, 2024.

Shree Ram Twistex: Business

Shree Ram Twistex Ltd is engaged in the manufacturing of Cotton Yarns, including Carded Yarns and Compact Ring Spun, both Carded and Combed.

Its product range includes value-added yarns such as Compact Slub Yarns, Lycra-Blended Yarns, and Eli Twist (Combed and Carded).

The Company operates in the business-to-business (B2B) segment, supplying products to institutional buyers including garment exporters, textile manufacturers, fabric processors, and bulk purchasers.

These Yarns are used in both weaving and knitting industry, serving a broad range of segments, such as –

• Bottom Wear,
• Denim,
• Home Textiles,
• Shirting,
• Sheeting,
• Sweaters,
• Socks,
• Terry Towels, and
• Industrial Fabrics.

The company sells its products in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Punjab, and also exports internationally.

Manufacturing Facility

The manufacturing facility of the company is located in Gondal, Rajkot, Gujarat, India, with 17 compact ring-spinning machines with a total spindle count of 27,744.

Warehouses & Storage Capacity

The company has a total of 5 warehouses; two for raw material storage, two for finished goods, and one for general storage, with a combined storage capacity of 9,855 Metric Tonnes.
