Solarworld Energy Solutions: History

The Company was originally incorporated as Solarworld Energy Solutions Private Limited, a private limited company under the Companies Act, 1956, on July 17, 2013.

The Company was converted into a public limited company under a special resolution passed by the shareholders on August 24, 2024, and its name was changed to Solarworld Energy Solutions Limited under a fresh certificate of incorporation issued by the RoC on September 23, 2024.

Solarworld Energy Solutions: Business

Solarworld Energy Solutions Ltd. is one of the leading solar energy solutions providers in India, specialising in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for solar power projects, with revenue from the EPC business reaching ₹1,000 crore (as per CRISIL Report) for FY 2024.

The Company offers comprehensive, end-to-end, and cost-effective solutions for the installation of solar power projects tailored to clients’ needs.

The Company offers these solar energy solutions through two distinct models, namely –

1. The capital expenditure (CAPEX) model, and
2. The renewable energy service company (RESCO) model

Under the CAPEX and RESCO models, the company provides operations and maintenance (O&M) services depending on the requirements of its clients.

Completed Projects

As of August 31, 2024, Solarworld had completed projects totaling 253.67 MW AC/336.17 MW DC and had ongoing projects with a cumulative capacity of 420 MW AC/592 MW DC.

As of August 31, 2024, the company had an order book valued at ₹799.7 cr.

Key Clients

Some of the key clients of the company include Ethnic Food Manufacturing Private Limited, Haldiram Snacks Private Limited, SJVN Green Energy Limited, and Samiksha Solarworld Private Limited.
