Joint Venture With Elemaster

Syrma SGS Technology Limited, a Chennai-based engineering and design company engaged in electronics manufacturing services, today, April 15, 2026, said that,

Syrma SGS Design and Manufacturing Private Limited (JVCo) at its Board Meeting held on April 14, 2026, completed the closing as per the terms of the Joint Venture Agreement executed by the Company, Elemaster, and JVCo.

As Part Of The Closing –

The Company has acquired 11,43,322 equity shares of JVCo for a total consideration of INR 32.70 Cr, resulting in an aggregate shareholding (including its existing ownership of equity shares) of 60 percent in JVCo;

Elemaster has acquired 7,68,881 equity shares of JVCo for a total consideration of INR 22 Cr, resulting in an aggregate shareholding of 40 percent in JVCo.

The Company has filed these details in accordance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The stock ended at INR 895, up 3.90% from previous close of INR 861.50.

Syrma SGS Technology Ltd – a leading Indian electronics systems design and manufacturing company today in its exchange filing has said that MSI (a global leader in AI PCs, content creation, gaming, business & productivity and AIoT solutions) selects the company (Syrma SGS) to manufacture “Make in India” laptops for Indian consumers.

Through this strategic collaboration, Syrma SGS Technologies will assemble laptops for MSI at its state-of-the-art Chennai facility.

MSI and Syrma SGS Technologies are setting the stage for a phased approach to localize manufacturing for MSI in India through this collaboration, starting with the assembly of laptops.

The share of Syrma SGS Technology closed at INR 567.80 on the NSE, down 4.50 per cent and the number of shares traded was 24,00,940.

Syrma SGS Technology ‘LISTING’

Syrma SGS Technology Limited made a strong debut on the stock market today.

The stock was listed at INR 260 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) against the issue price of INR 220, while the opening on the BSE was at INR 262; almost 19% listing gains for the IPO holders.

The IPO was open for subscription between 12 to 18 August 2022 and got a good response from investors across categories, but the major support came from qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) who purchased their quota 87.56 times, while the retail quota was subscribed 5.53 times.

At the end of the market, the stock of Syrma SGS Technology closed at INR 312 (almost 42% higher from its IPO price) with a volume of 5,99,61,608 shares on the NSE.

Syrma SGS Technology Ltd, whose IPO was open for subscription till 18 August 2022, is expected to list on the bourses latest by 26 August 2022.

The Company is likely to announce the ‘share allotment status’ by the end of 23 August 2022, that is today.

It is likely that allotted shares will be credited to the demat a/c by 25 August 2022 otherwise refunds will be credited to the investors account by 24 August 2022.
