Rajeev Samant established Sula Vineyards in the year 1999 (Nashik’s first winery) and paved the way for the emergence of India’s Wine Capital.

Today, Sula is India’s leading wine company, spearheading the charge of Indian wine across the world.

Sula Vineyards – Business

Company’s business can be broadly classified into 2 categories –

• the production of wine, including the import of wines and spirits, and the distribution of wines and spirits (the Wine Business); and
• the sale of services from ownership and operation of wine tourism venues, including vineyard resorts and tasting rooms (the Wine Tourism Business)

Sula Vineyards recognized as the market leader across wine variants, including red, white, and sparkling wines.

Brands

The Company distribute wines under a bouquet of popular brands including the flagship brand “Sula” and famous brands such as “Dindori” “Madera” “RASA” “The source” “Satori“and “Dia”

Production Facilities

Currently, the company produce 56 different labels of wine at 4 owned and 2 leased production facilities located in the Indian states of Karnataka and Maharashtra.

Distribution Network

The company have managed to build the largest distribution network among wine companies in India, with close to 13,000 retail touchpoints across the country in 2021.

Sula Vineyards are among the top 10 most followed vineyards in the world, with a large following on social media of approximately 103,000 followers on Instagram, 123,000 follows on Facebook, and close to 14,000 followers on Twitter.
