The Company was originally incorporated as Atlanta Electricals Pvt Ltd., a private limited company under the Companies Act, 1956, on December 15, 1988.
The Company changed its name to Atlanta Electricals Limited, and the RoC issued a fresh certificate of incorporation on December 20, 2024.

Atlanta Electricals Ltd. is one of the leading manufacturers of Auto, power, and inverter-duty transformers in India (in terms of production volume, as of FY 24).
It is among the few companies in India that manufacture transformers with a capacity of up to 500 megavolt-ampere (MVA) and a 765 kilovolts (kV) voltage.
With a pan-India presence and operations spanning over 30 years in the transformer manufacturing industry, the company supplies a wide range of transformers starting from 5 MVA/11 kV up to 200 MVA/220 kV.

Manufacturing Plants
The company operates five fully operational facilities across Gujarat and Karnataka.
It is including the recently commissioned Vadod, Gujarat, and Atlanta Trafo units, covering over 321,451 sq. ft., these sites boast a 63,060 MVA capacity.
Client Base
The company has a client base (259 customers) in three union territories and 19 states across India.
The company has relationships with players (like GETCO, Adani Green, TATA Power) in the renewable energy, transmission and distribution, and mobility sectors.
