Skyways Air Services: History
The Company was originally incorporated as a private limited company in Delhi under the name of Skyways Air Services Private Limited under the Companies Act, 1956, on December 21, 1984.
The Company was then converted into a public limited company on March 29, 2025, under a special resolution passed by the shareholders.
Its name was subsequently changed to Skyways Air Services Limited, and the RoC issued a fresh certificate of incorporation on May 5, 2025.

Skyways Air Services Limited has created a well-integrated Logistics Infrastructure and processes, making it a market leader in Air Freight in India.
The Company is actively engaged in providing a comprehensive suite of services to support the diverse needs of clients across domestic and international markets, including –
- Air freight forwarding,
- Ocean freight forwarding,
- Trucking,
- Warehousing,
- Custom broking,
- Technology-driven express cargo and parcel delivery, and
- A wide range of Value-Added Services (VAS)
Skyways began its operations as a Custom House Agent (CHA) and has progressively expanded its service offerings over the years in response to evolving market requirements and international trade dynamics.
The Company is consistently ranked No. 1 “Air Freight Forwarder” for AWB generation by World ACD for the calendar years 2024, 2023, and 2022.
Agreements
Skyways has performance-based agreements with several leading global airlines, including Air India Cargo, Saudi Cargo, Turkish Airlines, and Lufthansa.
In addition to these performance-based agreements, the company maintains active affiliations with several globally recognized logistics and freight forwarding networks, including –
- World Cargo Alliance (WCA),
- Air & Ocean Partners (AOP),
- Combined Logistics Networks (CLN),
- Multi Group Logistics Network (MGLN),
- Global Freight Alliance (GFA), and
- Transport Worldwide International Group (TWIG).

The company maintained relationships with 56 airlines and operated across 12 countries, with 5 warehouses and 31 pickup-and-delivery centres.
