Swastika Infra: History

The Company was originally formed as a partnership firm under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, on October 23, 1969, as Swastika Electricals & Fertilizers.

It was then converted into a public limited company on January 6, 2025, under a special resolution passed by the shareholders.

The Company subsequently changed its name to Swastika Infra Limited, and the RoC issued a fresh certificate of incorporation on January 27, 2025.

Swastika Infra: Business

Swastika Infra Ltd is an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company specializing in executing power distribution infrastructure projects (EPC Power Projects).

The Company provides complete turnkey solutions, including the supply, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of power infrastructure.

The scope of work extends to –

  • Underground Cabling Work, where it handles the laying, installation, and commissioning of high-voltage (low-voltage) power cables to enhance efficiency and reduce power losses;
  • Construction of Substations (Gas Insulated Substations/Air Insulated Substations), ensuring seamless power distribution through installation of power transformers, circuit breakers, ring main unit, and other essential components;
  • Undertaking Rural (urban) Electrification Projects, which involves working towards expanding electricity access in underserved regions by implementing distribution networks, service connections, and feeder lines;
  • Installation of Street Lighting Systems to enhance urban and rural infrastructure.

The Company follows an asset-light business model, and a significant portion of its projects are funded by the World Bank (or supported by the Ministry of Power, GoI).

As of February 28, 2025, the company has a proven track record of 14 years in executing EPC Power Projects, covering a total of 8,519.50 circuit kilometers (CKM) of distribution lines.
