Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) – Receipt of LOA from NMDC of ₹657 Crore

 

RVNL, a company incorporated in 2003 to meet the country’s surging infrastructural requirements, on Thursday, 26 February 2026, said that,

The Company has received a letter of acceptance (LOA) from National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC). Source – BSE

The management of RVNL said that the company has received two different LOAs from NMDC, a domestic entity, amounting to ₹657 Crore.

Order Details

The first order is for the construction of a Residential Tower in Kirandul, Chhattisgarh, India (under the General Contract Conditions).

The project cost is ₹285 Crore (Rupees Two Hundred Eighty-Five Crore only), including all taxes.

The project is to be executed over a period of 16 months.

 

The second order is for the Development of the Township in Kirandul, Chhattisgarh, India (in the normal course of business of the Company).

The project cost is ₹372 Crore (Rupees Three Hundred Seventy-Two Crore only), inclusive of all taxes.

The order is to be executed over a period of 21 months from the date of the Purchase Order.

 

Previous Order Details

On 18 February 2026, RVNL received a Letter of Acceptance from Northern Railway (a domestic entity) for the Design and Construction of New Rail Cum Road Bridge No. 11 over the River Ganga, amounting to ₹1201 Crore.
