Solarworld Energy Solutions Limited, a company specializing in the EPC services for solar power projects, today, March 30, 2026, announced that,

The Company has received a Letter of Award (LOA)  contract from National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC). Source: BSE.

 

Contract Details

According to the exchange details, Solarworld (the company) has received a contract for the supply of an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Package for the implementation of a battery energy storage system (BESS).

The BESS implementation will be at the Solapur Super Thermal Power Station (NTPC Thermal Power Station, Lot-1), with a capacity of 132 MW/ 264 MWh, a company spokesperson added.

Contract Value

The aggregate value of the aforesaid contract is INR 314.26 Crores (Rupees Three Hundred Fourteen Crores and Twenty-six Lac Only).

 

Duration

The new contract is to be executed over a period of 15 months from the date of the purchase order, a company management official said.

 

Exchange Compliance

The Company has filed these details in accordance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
