Lohia Corp: History
The Company was originally incorporated as Kanpur Packaging Machines Limited, a company limited by shares, under the Companies Act, pursuant to a certificate of incorporation issued by the RoC on June 5, 2023.
Pursuant to the Scheme of Arrangement, the Company’s name was changed from Kanpur Packaging Machines Limited to Lohia Corp Limited, and a certificate of incorporation was issued by the RoC on June 6, 2024.
Lohia Corp: Business
According to the F&S Report, Lohia Corp Limited is among the leading global manufacturers of machinery and equipment for technical textiles (in terms of revenue in 2024), with a strong focus on solutions for producing polypropylene and high-density polyethylene woven fabric, and sacks.
The Company manufactures a comprehensive and diverse suite of machinery such as –
Circular loom,
Coating and lamination lines,
Conversion machines,
Printing machines,
Tape extrusion lines,
Multifilament yarn machines,
Twister winders,
Monofilament extrusion lines, and
Recycling machines (as well as spare parts).
Lohia Corp provides end-to-end solutions for the entire ecosystem of woven fabric, offering services from concept to commissioning, throughout the complete production lifecycle required for the Raffia industry.
It also manufactures winders and rewinders for high performance fibres and has also ventured into extrusion lines to produce technical monofilaments with diversified applications such as textiles, agriculture, and sports.
The company has sold over 2,447 tape extrusion lines, 5,02,940 tape winders, and 1,01,452 circular looms, supporting an installed extrusion capacity of 8.59 million MT globally.

Dominant Position
In 2024, the company ranked among the top global players by revenue, with a 15.4 percent share of the global woven Raffia machinery market by value. (Source: F&S Report).
It is a market leader in the domestic woven Raffia machines market, with a dominant market share of 40.7 percent by value in FY 25, according to the F&S Report.
Manufacturing Facilities
Lohia Corp Ltd operates six manufacturing facilities across India, the United States, and Italy, with an annual installed capacity of 240 tape extrusion lines, 13,800 circular looms, and 108,000 tape winders.
